And off we go… to Paris!

We’re in transit, done with the long lists of chores we’ve been at for the last couple of weeks while wrapping up favorite projects. I was too jazzed to sleep last night, at all! So today’s a bit of an alternate reality. We’re chilling during a layover at Logan International, a favorite airport of mine that makes me long for New England’s intimate scale and so many dear old friends. Deep feelings of connection to place and people. Definitely one of my true homes. And we’ll be on our way soon!

Can’t wait to see the apartment that we’ll make our home this month, its ancient front doors, the street, its neighborhood. I’ll be in touch, chronicling our experience unless I get so relaxed that I don’t. I’m working hard to get into not working mode. Posts on Paris mustn’t become the latest project, you know? Am I capable of being project-less? Of just being? We’ll see, oui? Meanwhile, happy July, everyone! Make it beautiful…
